A unique opportunity presented itself today in church. I suspect many folks young and old did not make the connection. We had an opportunity to worship along side of a gifted praise team. Folks who gave much of there time to cultivate their talents to become really good at singing, the guitar, percussion, the piano, singing in the choir. We are blessed. We had an opportunity to have Gods living word made personal to us in the message. The pastor sharing the word with passion by knowing that he know it is the inspired and Holy words of God. We had an opportunity to hear about missions and the great things God is doing all around the world. We were told how folks are answering God’s question “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us” Isaiah 6:8. I encourage you to take about 2 minutes and listen to the following video http://www.godtube.com/view_video.php?viewkey=688dcd2cb1052725e268 .

There are many people in our body who have the ability to be people of action not just people of nice words. We have folks gifted in unimaginable ways many of them unknown because they have not answered the question in their heart. “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us”. We live in neighborhoods, and community’s with people all around us who need to see how we reply to Gods question “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us”.

I have followed our churches desire to be deciples who make deciples for several weeks now. I find myself thinking of the time we are spending with our neighbors. Some saved, some not. It is the saved as wells as the not save neighbor that has become a blessing to us. We have extended Gods love to all equally and God is working. We are looking forward to the day her heart is pliable and ready for God personal message of salvation. Until then we love her where she is.

My helpmate edited some of this as she and I differ on what we share in the body of Christ. But we do believe that the opportunity to do Gods work has never been as great as right here in our neighborhood.
